This incredible peak climbing starts with a short scenic flight to Lukla from where the trek follow the main Everest Base Camp route up to Lobuje and then to Lobuje base camp, setting up base camp at 4,950 m near a lake in a rocky hollow at the base of the glaciated South-West Face, using the south ridge to climbing the summit it is the easiest route and most popular route to the summit.
