Chulu Far East Peak Climbing

Chulu Far East stands at an elevation of 6,059 m / 19,879 ft in the vicinity of Manang valley of North Annapurna region which is rich for its various peaks and massif Mountains, Chulu Far East peak can be climbed with no technical difficulty.  Chulu Far East is although a small peak in Annapurna region but it offers grand mesmerizing views of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Annapurna ranges, and other peaks of high Himalaya from its summit. This is an ideal peak preparation for the expedition above 7,000 m such as Mt. Himlung, Mt. Baruntse, Mt. Annapurna IV and others, our Chulu Far East peak combines with climbing and trekking around Annapurna or circuit offering a scenic panoramic adventure in Annapurna region.

This trekking and climbing combination trip starts right from Jagat via Besisahar, headquarters of Lamjung district which goes along the Marshyangdi River, using the main route of around Annapurna circuit up to Ngawal with great views of Manaslu and Himal Chuli to the east.  From Ngawal moving further to Chulu Far East base camp at 4,780 m / 15,683 ft for final preparation and final ascent to the summit, above the base camps making High Camp 5,680 m / 18,635 ft to make it possible for the climb to the summit. Chulu Far East Peak offers a panorama and mesmerizing views of Mt. Annapurna range, Manaslu, Tilicho peak and many other mountains of great Himalaya. Another adventure of this trip is traversing the Thorong-la pass at 5,416 meters, for some trekkers finds hard crossing this pass, due to its high altitude and snow on the trail sometimes.

This trekking in the end leads to the sacred place of Muktinath a holy spot for both Hindus and Buddhists, Muktinath which literally means ‘the place for Nirvana or Liberation’ and trekking in the world’s deepest gorge at Kali Gandaki valley, this trip finally concludes with a super scenic short flight from Jomsom to the famous tourist spot at Pokhara with its pristine Lake Phewa, being in Pokhara this is the a different highlight of trekking.  After spending night in Pokhara, an interesting scenic driving journey to Kathmandu after a most amazing adventure in the Annapurna Himalaya with Adventure Hub Treks.
